The exponential equation is:


10^(-2)=0.01

To express it in the logarithmic form we can use the next conversion:


b^y=x\Leftrightarrow\log _b(x)=y

Where b=10, y=-2 and x=0.01. By replacing these values we obtain:


10^(-2)=0.01\Leftrightarrow\log _(10)(0.01)=-2
