Fungi are considered as decomposers. Fungi make sure that buried organisms are broken down to small details. These details will be of use to other organisms. If they will not act as decomposers, deteriorating matters will file up. Its harmful effect is in the process of recycling these dead organisms. It produce chemicals such as carbon and nitrogen that are being brought back to the environment.
