Binomial distribution is a different kind of distribution from continuous distribution in which each trial has equal probability of attaining a specific value and each trial is independent of the other. In binomial distribution, there are only two outcomes. Either a success or failure. Thus, the criterias for binomial distribution include

The trials are independent of each other

The probability of success or failure is fixed

The number of trials must be fixed when a particular observation is being carried out
