Find the mean in terms of x. 3x-2, 12x+9 and -6x+5. Make sure you simplify your final answer and write your x term first in your final answer. (like the homework from Monday)

Answer:

mean = 3x +4

Explanation:

As with numbers, the mean is the sum divided by the number of constituents of the sum.

mean = ((3x -2) +(12x +9) +(-6x +5))/3

= (9x +12)/3

mean = 3x +4
