The two foci are (+ae, 0), and (-ae, 0)


\begin{gathered} e=\sqrt{1+(b^2)/(a^2)} \\ \\ a=6,b=8 \\ \\ \Rightarrow e=\sqrt{1+(64)/(36)}=(5)/(3) \end{gathered}
ae=6*(5)/(3)=10
