Carol, a student in an advanced statistics course, was given an algebra test and she scored 80%. Is this an accurate predictor of how well students in the algebra class will perform on the test? Why or why not?

We have the result of only one person, therefore this result is not a accurate predictor for an entire class.

In order to have a better predictor, we need more results to create a good sample, this way the estimative will be more accurate.

So the answer is NO, because the sample is too small (only one person).
