As a first step we have to find the measure of angle C:

Since, intern angles of a triangle must add up 180 degrees, then

26+18+C=180

44+C=180

C=180-44

C=136 degrees

Now, we can find side b:

\begin{gathered} (b)/(\sin(B))=(c)/(\sin (C)) \\ (b)/(\sin(18))=(27)/(\sin (136)) \\ b\sin (136)=27\cdot\sin (18) \\ b=(27\cdot\sin (18))/(\sin (136)) \\ b=12 \end{gathered}
