Solution

We have the following solution:

x^2+4x+19=0

And we can use the following equation:

x=\frac{-\text{b}\pm\sqrt[]{b^2-4ac}}{2a}

For this case a=1, b=4, c=19

Replacing we got:

x=\frac{-4\pm\sqrt[]{(4)^2-4(1)(19)}}{2(1)}=\frac{-4\pm\sqrt[]{-60}}{2}=-2\pm\sqrt[]{15}i

Then the answers are:

x=-2-\sqrt[]{15}i,-2+\sqrt[]{15}i
