Standard Form of a Polynomial

We want to write the following Polynomial in Standard Form:

f(x)=-8x+2x^3+5-6x^2

This means that we want to arrange it so its term of highest degree (or exponent) is first, its term of 2nd highest is 2nd, etc...

In this case, the highest degree we can find is 3: 2x³

The second is 2: -6x²

The third is 1: -8x

the least is 0: 5

So we arrange it with that order:

f(x)=2x^3-6x^2-8x+5

That is the answer.
