P=(favoutcomes)/(totaloutcomes)

In this case, there are only 2 favorable outcomes, which are that both spinner and highlighter are blue or green. There are 18 total outcomes, the probability is:


P=(2)/(18)=(1)/(9)

The answer is 1/9.
