Two(2) events are dependent if the occurence of one affects the other.

Two(2) events are independent if the occurence does not affect the other.

The flipping of a coin twice is a Dependent event, because the event of a head and a tail cannot occur simultaneously. The occurence of one prevents the other.

Hence, the events are Dependent.
