What is overstory in a rainforest and do any organisms live there?

The overstory is the uppermost trees in a forest, like some giant emergent trees that have 213 feet or more, usually their form the canopy of the forest. Some animals that use the overstory are the owls, orioles, hawks, eagles, and small mammals like the squirrels.
