Given the shown graph:

As shown, the graph is a line because the rate of the change between the points is constant and is called the slope

As shown, the line passes through the point (0, 0), it will be a proportion relationship: y = k * x

The value of (k) will be calculated using one of the points on the line

As shown the line passes through the point (1, 2)

so, when x = 1, y = 2

so, k = y/x = 2/1 = 2

so, the equation of the graph will be:


y=2x
