Since the diameter is 14ft, we can easily see that the radius is:


r=(d)/(2)=(14)/(2)=7ft

then, we can find the area with the following formula:


A=\pi\cdot r^2

in this case, we have the following:


\begin{gathered} A=(3.14)\cdot(7)^2=3.14\cdot49=153.86 \\ \Rightarrow A=153.86ft^2 \end{gathered}

thus, the area of the circle with diameter 14ft is 153.86ft^2
