The value of the mean square is,


\begin{gathered} x^2=(32^2+28^2+26^2+32^2+24^2+32^2)/(6) \\ =851.334 \end{gathered}

The value of the standard deviation is,

s=(851.334-(29)^2)^(1/2)

=3.21465

=3.21

Thus, the standard deviation is 3.21.
