To solve this problem we need to use Boyles gas Law:

P_1V_1=P_2V_2

Given:

V1 = 1212 mL

P1 = 6756 Torr

P2 = 289 Torr

V2= ?

V2 = P1V1/P2

V2 = (6756 torr x 1212 mL)/289 torr

V2 = 28333.12111 mL
