the empire state building weighs 7.3 x 10^8 pounds

The one world trade centre building weighs about 88200, 000 pounds or 0.8 x 10^8 pounds

sum up the weighs

7.3 x 10^8 + 0.8 x 10^8

8.1 x 10^8

so the value of a is 8.1 and the value of b is 8.
