Determine the equation of line passing through the point (6,8) and (-2,4).

\begin{gathered} y-8=(4-8)/(-2-6)(x-6) \\ y-8=(4)/(-8)(x-6) \\ y-8=-(x)/(2)-(1)/(2)\cdot(-6) \\ y=(-x)/(2)+3+8 \\ y=(-x)/(2)+11 \end{gathered}

So equation of line is y=-x/2+11.
