Ashton was counting his spare change. He had 15 nickels and 5 dimes . How many times as many nickels does Ashton have than dimes

You have to determine how many nickels per dime, to do so you have to divide the number of nickels by the number of dimes.

If he has 15 nickels and 5 dimes, then:


(15)/(5)=3

Ashton has 3 times as many nickels as he has dimes.
