The equation of circle with center (h,k) and radius r is,

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

Determine the equation of circle with center (5,-4) and radius 7.

\begin{gathered} (x-5)^2+(y-(-4))^2=(7)^2 \\ (x-5)^2+(y+4)^2=49 \end{gathered}

So equation of circle is,

(x-5)^2+(y+4)^2=49
