If one passenger weighs 160 pounds, then 6 passengers weigh 6*160 = 960 pounds

passengers weight + luggage and cargo weights = total weight

The total weight must be 2200 pounds or less. Calling x to the luggage and cargo weights, we get:

960 + x ≤ 2200

x ≤ 2200 - 960

x ≤ 1240

The luggage and cargo must weigh 1240 pounds or less
