Larry has been offered two jobs. Job 1 pays $10.66 per hour, and Job 2 pays $11.37 per hour. He will only get to work 26 hours per week at Job 1, and 21 hours at Job 2. What is the difference in the amount Larry will make each week from these two jobs (i.e. what is "larger gross pay - smaller gross pay")?

First let's calculate the amount earned in job 1:

10.66\cdot26=277.16

Now, for job 2, we have:

11.37\cdot21=238.77

Then, calculating the difference between the values:

277.16-238.77=38.39

So the difference is $38.39.
