Given:

A=(1,1)

B=(2,4)

C=(5,1)

1) To find midpoint of line AB,


\begin{gathered} D=((x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2)) \\ A=(x_1,y_1)=(1,1) \\ B=(x_2,y_2)=(2,4) \\ D=((3)/(2),(5)/(2)) \end{gathered}

Similarly the midpoint of line BC and labled it as E

The relationship betwwen line DE and line AC is,

It is observed that, the line DE is parallel to line AC.

The realtionship is they are the parallel lines to each other.
