For any binary operation. The rules are defined as follows.

1. Commutative Property:


a\ast b=b\ast a

2. Associative Property:


(a\ast b)\ast c=a\ast(b\ast c)

3. Distributive Property:


a\ast(b+c)=(a\ast b)+(a\ast c)

Thus, we can compare and match the property with their corresponding formats.

The last two expressions are examples of Commutative Property.

The 1st and 3rd expressions are example of Distributive Property.

The 2nd expression is the example of Associative Property.
