Data:

Strawberry juice: s

6L 20%s

xL 80%

Final: (6+x)L 55%

6\cdot(20)/(100)+x\cdot(80)/(100)=(6+x)((55)/(100))

Solve x:

Simplify:

1.2+0.8x=3.3+0.55x

Leave in one side of the equation the terms with the variable x:

0.8x-0.55x=3.3-1.2

Make substractions.

0.25x=2.1

Divide both both sides of the equation into 0.25:

\begin{gathered} (0.25)/(0.25)x=(2.1)/(0.25) \\ \\ x=8.4 \end{gathered}Then, you shloud add 8.4L of 80 percent strawberry juice to make 55 percent strawberry juice
