True. Living things need biodiversity because they depend on one another such as for food. The food chain and food web is an example because it needs biodiversity so other organisms can each other and get energy.

Biodiversity refers to the variability of life on Earth, including genetic, species, and ecosystem diversity.

Biodiversity is important for several reasons:

• genetic diversity allows the populations to remain healthy and resist diseases

,

• individual diversity allows the adaptation of species to different circunstances

,

• species sustain each other, so the maintaining of diversity in an ecosystem allows it to be in balance.

,

For all of this, is TRUE that biodiversity is important because living beings depend on one another.
