What is theprobability that a plain pencil from the first box and a color pencil from the second box are selected?Write your answer as a fraction in simplest form.

We will have that the probability would be the probability of event A times the probability of event B, that is:


P=(4)/(8)\cdot(1)/(10)\Rightarrow P=0.05

So, the probabilty is of 5%.
