Answer: We have been given a bouquet of 2 dozen roses, and each dozen has 12 roses, the roses are 12 red and 12 pinks. And we need to find (A) Part to part ratio and (B) Part to the whole ratio:

(A) Part to the part ratio: There are two individual parts each is comprised of 12 roses, therefore we have the following.

(12)/(12)=1

(B) Part to the whole ratio: Whole is comprised of 24 roses, and the part has 12, therefore we have:-

(12)/(12+12)=(12)/(24)=(1)/(2)=0.5
