Why is there no solution to the equation 3/(x-2)=5/(x-2). Explain.

given data:


(3)/(\left(x-2\right))=(5)/(\left(x-2\right))
\begin{gathered} (3)/(x-2)=(5)/(x-2) \\ (3)/(x-2)\mleft(x-2\mright)=(5)/(x-2)\mleft(x-2\mright) \\ 3=5 \end{gathered}

the sides are not equal ,

thus, there is no solution.
