The combustion of coal will add a significant amount of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere, and coal is found in dead animals or trees deposited and buried underground for hundreds of millions of year, so this fossil fuel being used in a power plant would vastly increase the quantity of CO2 in the atmosphere, therefore letter C
