SOLUTION

Step 1:

In this question, we were meant to find how many pencils , each box would contain.

Step 2 :

We were given that there are 12 boxes of coloured pencils and

each box contained the same number of pencils.

If there were 768 pencils on the table top.

Based on this information above,

We would evaluate the question using the following Mathematical calculations:


\begin{gathered} If\text{ 12 boxes = 768 pencils} \\ 1\text{ box = }\frac{768\text{ x 1}}{12}\text{ } \\ =(768)/(12) \\ =\text{ 64 pencils ----------OPTION C} \end{gathered}

CONCLUSION :

Each box contains 64 pencils ----- OPTION C
