The farmer has a land divided into 10 sections


1section=2(3)/(4)\text{ acres}

Hence, the 10 sections will amount to;


\begin{gathered} 10*2(3)/(4)=10*(11)/(4) \\ =(110)/(4) \\ =(55)/(2) \\ =27(1)/(2)\text{ acres} \end{gathered}

Therefore, the acres of land the farmer owns as a mixed number in its simplest form is 27 1/2 acres.
