So we need to express the following product as a polynomial:


5(x+6)

Here is important to remember the distributive property of the multiplication that for three numbers a, b and c states:


a\cdot(b+c)=a\cdot b+a\cdot c

If we apply this to our product we get:


5(x+6)=5\cdot x+5\cdot6=5x+30

Then the answer is 5x+30.
