A shipping container is in the shape of a right rectangular prism with a length of 7feet, a width of 14.5 feet, and a height of 10.5 feet. The container is completely filledwith contents that weigh, on average, 0.39 pound per cubic foot. What is the weightof the contents in the container, to the nearest pound?

Volume of the prism will be


\begin{gathered} V=7*14.5*10.5 \\ =1065.75\text{ cubic f}eet \end{gathered}

It is given that weight per cubic feet is 0.39 pounds so weight in 1065.75 cubic feet will be:-


\begin{gathered} 0.39*1065.75 \\ =415.6425 \end{gathered}

So weight of contents in the contents in the container will be 416
