The distributive property in math helps us to understand how to solve for numbers being multiplied by a parenthesis. For example, a (x + y).

This means we can distribute the number being multiplied into the paranthesis.

Hence,


\begin{gathered} 7*48 \\ =(7*50)-(7*2)=336 \end{gathered}

Note that this can also end up being written as

7 (50 - 2)

And the 7 will be distributed into the numbers in parenthesis as shown in the equation editor

The correct answer is option A
