A transversal is the line that intersects two or more lines.
1. When two or more lines are cut by a transversal, the angles which occupy the same relative position are called corresponding angles
If the corresponding angles are congurent then the lines are parallel other the lines are not parallel.
2. If the pairs of consecutive interior angles formed are supplementary then the lines are parallel otherwise not.
