Given;


w=l+10,P=140ft

The perimeter of a rectangle is;


\begin{gathered} P=2(l+w) \\ \\ 140=2(l+l+10) \\ \\ (140)/(2)=2l+10 \\ \\ 70-10=2l \\ \\ 2l=60 \\ \\ l=(60)/(2) \\ \\ l=30ft \end{gathered}

Then;


\begin{gathered} w=30+10 \\ \\ w=40ft \end{gathered}

CORRECT ANSWER:


\begin{gathered} Width=40ft \\ \\ Length=30ft \end{gathered}
