Stoppung the production and distribution of plastic would certainly be good for the environment. Not only the consumption and the incorrect disposal of plastic are prejudicial, but its production and distribution as well. The process of turning fossil fuels into plastic pollutes the water and the packaging also damages the environment. The distribution creates the need of extensive chains of distribution, including many vehicles polluting the air, for example. The production and distribution of plastic depends on factories and the usage of many other things that generate extraction of natural materials. Therefore, we can say hthat yes, stopping the production and distribution of plastic positively affect the environment.
