How do your senses help you respond to different stimuli you encounter in your environment.

The five senses are sight, smell, hearing, touch, taste; they provide our brain diffent kinds of information of the environment to our brain. This is possible due to the sensory receptors which detect the stimuli, which travels through the peripheral nervous system to the central nervous system.
