I need help with a math problem.Plot 7/8 and 2*(1/4) in the number line.

Fractions given:


(7)/(8)
2\cdot(1)/(4)

Procedure

As we can see, the number one (an integer), is divided in 8 vertical little lines.

What the first fraction is representing, is seven of those eight lines:

Meaning we would have to color until the 7th vertical line (pink line in the image) as the image above is showing.

The second fraction is saying that we have two integers and half of one of the vertical lines:

Then, to plot them in the graph we would have to point where each number is.
