To calculate the lower quartile,

First arrange from lowest to highest

32, 34, 37, 39, 41, 45, 48, 53, 58 , 60, 61 , 62

Then, we will use the fomula;

1/4 (n+1)

(1)/(4)(n+1)^(th)\text{ term}

where n=12

=(1)/(4)(12+1)^{th\text{ }}term
\approx3rd\text{ number}

The 3rd number is 37

The minimum is the lowest number and is 32

The maximum is the highest number and it is 62

The median is the middle number

45 + 48 / 2 = 93/2 = 46.5
