The lateral surface area of a prism is calculated by the adition of the lenghts of all sides of the base mutiplied by the height of the prism.

since the base is a triangle then we will have 3 sides a,b,c

La=h\cdot(a+b+c)

according to the figure the sides are 6,8,10 in

the lateral surface area will be

\begin{gathered} La=8(6+8+10) \\ La=8(24) \\ La=192in^2 \end{gathered}
