we know that

the center (0,0)

so

(h,k)=(0,0)

Find the value of a

a=4 ------> a^2=16

c=8 -----> c^2=64

we have that

c^2=a^2+b^2

b^2=c^2-a^2

b^2=64-16

b^2=48

Find the equation

x^2/a^2-y^2/b^2=1

so

x^2/16-y^2/48=1
