Two secants intersecting: If two secants segments are drawn from a point outside a circle, the product of the length of one secant and its external segment equals the product of the length of the other secant and its external segement.

For the given secant segments:


x*4=9*6

Use the euqation above to solve x:


\begin{gathered} x=(9*6)/(4) \\ \\ x=(54)/(4) \\ \\ x=13.5 \end{gathered}Then, the value of x is 13.5
