R=(-∞, ∞)

D=(-∞, ∞)

1) In the graph, below let's find out the slope of that line, picking two points:

(0,4) and (-2,0)

So the slope is m=2. As when x=0 y=4, then we can write it as y=2x+4

2) The Range is the set of outputs of that function.

As this is a continual function, without algebraical undefinitions then we can write the Range as:

R=(-∞, ∞)

And the Domain similarly is defined for all the values of x, in R. So

D= (-∞, ∞)
