a function is even if

f(x) = f (-x)

a function is odd if

f(-x) = -f(x)

since this is a line with negative slope

and

Odd Functions are symmetrical about the origin

f(x)= -x

this is a odd function

then

Option C

the function is odd because it is symmetric about the origin
