Change from radical form to exponential expression in fractional form

Change from radical form to exponential expression in fractional form-example-1

In general,

\sqrt[]{x}=x^{(1)/(2)}

Therefore, in our case,

\sqrt[]{y^(14)}=(y^(14))^{(1)/(2)}=y^{(14)/(2)}=|y|^7

Then, in fractional form the answer is y^(14/2); if we simplify it, we need to take the absolute value obtaining |y|^7
