Supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees.

If the larger angle is 72 degrees larger than the smaller angle.

Let the smaller angle be x, the larger angle would be x + 72

Thus

x + 72 + x = 180

2x +72 =180

2x = 180 - 72 = 108

x = 54 degrees.

Therefore, the smaller angle is 54 degrees and the larger angle is

54 +72 degrees = 126 degrees.
