First, subtract mrs credit sales in May from mrs credit sales in June, and then calculate the 9%(commission) of the result.

48500 - 45200 = 3300

The 9% of 3300 is equal to: 9/100*3300= 297

Answer: $297 were earned in June in commission more than in May.
