Agricultural expansion is the process in which humans search for more space to grow crops. To have more territory available and prepare it for farming activities large areas of forest are cleared, especially in agriculture developing countries.

The constant demand for space to grow food, fibers or raw materials for Bioflues, as well as space to grow livestock, increase exponentialy the amount of terrain needed, which causes a rapid loss of natural forest in the hads of agricultural activities.
